Marin Family Action’s newest project gives you an opportunity to Shop and Save . . . Shop from our brand new online store at Marin Family Shops with logo items from Marin Family Action and MarinStock, help save homes for families facing foreclosure and help with our programs that encourage financial literacy . . . which, of course, includes saving.
We are making inroads with the our Home Save Project, which started in May 2009 when Marin’s families began asking for help to save homes they had been in for many years. The numbers of families facing forecloure are growing, but we have learned methods that work!
With funds raised through our new online store and with underwriting by US Bank (and a new grant from PG&E), we present Youth Financial Literacy Programs in Marin County schools throughout the year. This program started in 2005 to encourage our youth to be a step ahead in the future by learning the importance of financial planning now!
We’re starting with a few quality items we know you will enjoy, i.e. sweats, TShirts, cups, mugs and an apron. Also little cotton items for the kids, and an adorable pet jacket for little pups on colder days.
